Climbing for adults – Jun 2023

Ander the instructor adapted rapidly to the needs of a mixed ability adult group. He provided appropriate routes while always paying due attention to safety. A relaxed and enjoyable experience. Thanks.

Fantastic day canoeing with Scouts – Jun 2023 • Business

I am a Scout Leader and organised a days canoe trip from Kerne Bridge to Biblins (where we were camping) with Forest Adventure for 21 Scouts and Leaders. Edward was very helpful with the organisation and was able to help with transport to the start point and Neil and Amy, the instructors, were absolutely fantastic and made the day really instructive and fun for the Scouts. Also good value versus some of the other quotes I got. I would definitely recommend using Forest Adventure if you are looking to do activities in River Wye/Forest of Dean area.

Raft building – Jun 2023 • Friends

Recently did the raft building as part of a stag weekend. Great experience, we all really enjoyed the afternoon.

We had anticipated that we would all fail in building the rafts and it would become a bit of a shambles.. but the staff made sure we had enough support to make some working rafts which really added to the experience. Highly recommend!

Our Location – Raven’s nest

Hidden away in the heart of the Wye Valley near Tintern, our private woodland site is a place where adventure comes alive. Surrounded by towering trees, flowing water, and winding forest trails, this secluded camp feels like stepping into another world — the perfect setting for discovery, challenge, and fun.

Here, young people and teams swap screens for streams, classrooms for campfires, and routines for real adventure. Alongside classic bushcraft skills like fire-lighting and shelter-building, groups can dive into a variety of water-based and high-energy activities. From raft-building and river challenges to adventurous woodland games and problem-solving tasks, every experience is designed to spark excitement and teamwork.

Whether it’s a school group learning new skills, a youth team bonding through shared challenges, or colleagues looking to reconnect in a fresh way, every visit is filled with energy, laughter, and the thrill of the outdoors. With the entire woodland reserved just for your group, there’s space to explore, freedom to try new things, and endless opportunities to create memories that last.

Step into the woods, take to the water, and discover what your group is truly capable of.
